Shut up and Squat!

I started a new fitness class a couple of weeks ago. It’s all about functional training, lifting heavy weights dynamically, all while being very nit picky about posture. We mainly use kettle bells and boy do those get you going! Seriously, I feel like my whole body gets a beating every time.

I have only been 3 times, but I can see the results already, which is awesome, but unfortunately, I will use that as an excuse to justify eating that extra handful of chocolate covered peanuts. Darn!

I can’t always find an hour to work out, but if I do, this definitely gets me every time. A great compliment is tabata style, HIIT training. Some people doubt if 12 minutes is enough, but if I am sweating and can’t do another squat in just 12 minutes, then that’s all the proof I need!

I am lazy to the bone and have to persuade myself to workout every time, but shut up and squat works is all I really need to get going.
