Confused

23 Jul

Life can get so confusing as you grow older. This is what I saw on my way to work this morning:

A very frail old gentleman left his two dogs in front of the grocery store. Despite having no leash, they patiently sat, waiting for their master, obediently looking at him through the store window the entire time.

The man walks out several minutes later- only he did not go out the same door he came in by. He walked out the other door of the store which was behind the corner. He kept looking around for the dogs and could not see them sitting just behind him. Poor man.

It’s surprising he even remembered he had them.

With so many things to distract us, it’s no wonder we don’t see the things right in front of us.
